Overview:
Under general direction, independently develops, modifies, and implements moderately to highly complex information systems that are thorough and accurate and conform to MST standards. Translates customer requirements, recommending system solutions and formulating detailed specifications from which programs are written. Independently researches and resolves more complex technical problems. A top level technical contributor in one or more highly specialized phases of application system analysis and programming with strong business application knowledge. May serve as primary system support for two or more complex information systems based on in-depth system knowledge. May serve in the MST Solutions Framework roles of Development Lead, Project Manager, Testing Advocate, or Operations Advocate.

Independently develop, modify and implement thorough and accurate solutions for moderate to highly complex information systems.
Ensure all solutions conform to MST standards, including Quality Assurance requirements.
Serve as primary system support for two or more complex information systems based on in-depth system knowledge.
Contribute technical system analysis and programming in one or more highly specialized phases of system development
Serve in the MST Solutions Framework as Development Lead, Developer or Operations Advocate.
Possibly serve in the MST Solutions Framework as Project Manager or Testing Advocate.
Serve as a top level technician with strong business application knowledge.
Skills Summary:
5-7 years developing complex, integrated systems using COBOL and CICS
5-7 years with DB2
5-7 years mainframe batch JCL and Control M scheduling
5-7 years with Teradata SQL and related utilities (preferred)
OS/JCL, TSO, Endeavor, FileAid, IBM utilities
Familiarity with VB 6 and /or is a plus
Familiarity with Datacom is a plus
Knowledge of MQ Series is a plus
Familiarity with retail math and general accounting practices is a plus
