Summary:
This section focuses on the main purpose of the job in one to four sentences.
The Senior Manager of Medical Information will manage the implementation of global Medical Information Software platform to support the globalization of Medical Information for Medical Products. This position will be responsible for the corresponding SOPs to support the globalization of medical information. This position will also implement and maintain the quality monitoring system for the users of the Global Medical Information Response System in Medical Products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Implementation of the Global Medical Information Software Platform to support medical inquiries in each region
2. Partner with the regional/country affiliates on medical information process and system implementation
3. Super user of the Medical Information Software platform and member of the Medical Information Response System team
4. Coordinate the development and approval of global documents for medical information by providing high quality, balanced and timely clinical, medical, and scientific information
5. Review monthly metric reports and data entry and develop and initiate appropriate process improvements plans
6. Provide relevant information/metrics back to the Medical Information team and Lifecycle Management to improve our medical communications and products.
7. Implement and maintain the quality monitoring system for users of the Global Medical information Response System
8. Monitor industry guidelines/regulations and trends related to medical information/communications
9. Assumes other duties as assigned by Senior Director, Global Medical Affairs.
Job Requirements
•Excellent medical writing and oral communication skills
•Working knowledge of ex-US regulations for medical communications
•Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work with global teams/cultures
•Excellent time management skills; ability to focus on multiple issues at one time; ability to organize and direct diverse activities in a changing environment
•Team-oriented
•Self motivated with exceptional follow through. Education and/or Experience:
•Clinically skilled, licensed health care professional in Pharmacy.
•Minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical/device industry experience.
•Track record of implementing or managing a global medical information inquiry system or equivalent global system.
