JOB DESCRIPTION: The Greenville Plant manufactures Torque-Arm, Torque-Arm II and MAXUM speed reducers, as well as, gearing for other Baldor facilities, application related accessories and a variety of new gearing products. Speed reducers range from fractional to 700 horsepower, each in a variety of ratios and configurations to meet varying customer needs. Primary industries served include construction and aggregate, bulk material handling, agricultural equipment, and airport baggage handling. Manufacturing engineering support is very operationally critical in this highly CNC based, close tolerance machining, manufacturing environment.
This position will provide engineering and technical expertise for the gearing operations.
EDUCATION: BSME or similar technical degree
REQUIREMENTS: Three years of manufacturing experience involving CNC machining. * Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Ergonomics, Programming, AutoCad and Tool Design is desired. * This position provides full range of engineering services for manufacturing including process efficiency and troubleshooting, process improvements and capital project management.
