Job Descriptions:
1. The Candidate will be required to design, build, operate and maintain Internet Protocol (IP) based networks using CISCO technologies and protocols. The Candidate must have a vast knowledge of CISCO networking principles, as he/she will be working in the Government’s NOSC (Network Operation & Security Center) for a DoD wide area network.
2. The Candidate will maintain network stability, troubleshoot network issues, provide technical support for end users, and ensure customer satisfaction. The technician will be required to submit a monthly report to the KRATOS Project Leader annotating accomplishments/duties performed during the previous month.
3. The Candidate must have expert knowledge of implementing Command Line Interface (CLI) commands on CISCO Routers. In addition, have expert knowledge of CISCO routers/switches (IPv4, OSPF, Static routes, VLANs, Trunks & Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE) Tunnels.
4. The Candidate must have Basic knowledge of CCNA principles, multicast procedures, IPv6, Binary Ghost-Pulse (BGP) Constraint and/or Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP). In addition, have basic knowledge of network monitoring tools (Solarwinds- Orion, SNMPc), Cisco Call Manager, VoIP, Video Teleconferencing or CISCO Multiport Conferencing Unit (MCU). Have basic knowledge of military encryption devices such as KG-175 and Global Enterprise Management (GEMs) Software. Required Experience:
