SUMMARY

Analyzes current and newly developed operation policies, procedures, and systems across multiple departments or locations.  Reviews current performance and procedures for improvement opportunities through standardization.  Uses quantitative methods to recommend changes that have significant financial impact.


  • Analyzes current procedures in order to make recommendations to promote effective operations within and between departments. Should be able to benchmark and identify best practices from other organizations in order to speed process change

 

  • Manages the completion of difficult cross functional projects that are broad in nature with only general supervision, through planning, assigning duties, monitoring progress and evaluating results, following general guidelines and using creativity and resourcefulness to meet established goals.

 

  • Recommends the final course of action among several alternatives for enhancements to operational policies, procedures, and systems.  Uses mathematical models to prove overall impact and probability of success.

 

  • Prepares and delivers the required training to facilitate changes in business policy, procedures, and system implementations.  Uses a high level of diplomacy to implement controversial changes.

 

  • Creates and establishes performance metrics to determine acceptable levels of quality for various business functions and units.

 

  • Works under light supervision to accomplish objectives.

 

  • Reviews organizational functions to avoid overlap or duplication.

 

  • Mentors lower level employees.  Participates in the hiring of lower level employees in the department and their subsequent training on procedures and policies.

 

  • Maintains and applies expert knowledge of practices and procedures in area of expertise.

Relevant Masters degree; Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and five plus years of experience; Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and seven plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
