Sr. Oracle OBIEE Administrator
The Sr. Oracle OBIEE Administrator will be responsible for: * Database maintenance of clustered (RAC) and non-clustered instances* Back-up and restoration maintenance using RMAN* Installation, configuration, and documentation of database instances and RAC nodes and the OBIEE platform* Patching and upgrading of platforms* Operational support to ensure availability, reliability, scalability, and performance of OBIEE environment* Providing system integration support to application development groups and other infrastructure support staff to troubleshoot problems and resolve software-related system issues* Compliance reviews for proposed or changing application systems* Developing and updating disaster recovery plans for the OBIEE platform* Establishing and maintaining an interface with SAML for authentication Primary Duties / Responsibilities: * Establish OBIEE scheduled jobs* Consult with Oracle technical and software support* Troubleshoot poorly performing ETL feeds* Manage back-up strategies* Monitor server and application utilization* Work with development teams on newly required report features* Install and set-up additional modules* Document the current system environment* Patch the production system following SDLC and Change Management proceduresSpecific Qualifications: * Experience in Information Technology* Experience with Oracle RAC, RMAN, Solaris Administration, and Configuration Management* Experience with configuration and documentation of Oracle DBMS software and patches* Experience with Oracle Database management using command line tools primarily augmented with the Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control* Experience with database performance tuning and troubleshooting and configuration documentation* Experience performing UNIX System administration tasks which include account management and tracking disk utilization issues* Demonstrated communication and presentation skills
