We are currently looking for a qualified Sr. Principal Benefits Analyst to join our Human Resources Team at our office located in Islandia, NY. This position is responsible for directing the benefits analysts to ensure the coordinated management of the design, development and analysis of CA's North America H&W plans, Global Retirement Plans, and North America Wellness programs. This position is strategic in nature and provides the overall leadership for the work group through knowledge in various areas of specialization. Key Responsibilities: . Manage multiple projects to ensure the overall benefit and retirement programs are aligned and directly supports the achievement of CA's strategic objectives. . Exhibit ingenuity and creativity when making complex benefits plan design. . Apply and /or develop highly advanced technologies, principles and concepts in global benefit programs. . May serve as key project analyst to senior management in long-term company planning on benefit projects impacting the success of the organization. . Ensure consistent use of common processes across all benefits programs. . Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company. . Keep senior benefit management informed of key issues and changes with may impact expected financial or business results. . Ensure that benefit programs budgets are in accordance with financial goals. . Manage cross-functional project deliverables directly and other resources indirectly to complete a project. . Analyze current state and design of future state processes. . Establish and track success criteria and metrics for any new benefit programs developed. . May represent company at internal and external meetings and develop key professional working relationships. . Vendor management and budget management is essential to job responsibilities. Key Requirements: . Bachelor's degree . Business travel of approximately 10 or less percent yearly is expected for this position. . Typically 10 years of related professional Benefits Analyst experience plus 4 or more years of professional benefits program management experience. Skills: . Broad range of analytical, program management, benefit industry experience and leadership skills required. . Strong quantitative analysis and experience working with Benefits Data Warehouses and benefits database products. . Excellent proficiency in SAP (or other HRIS system), EXCEL, ACCESS, MS Word, Visio, PowerPoint and Share Point. . Must be able to collaborate and influence across the organizational boundaries. . Proven ability to manage benefit programs across global centers and through cross-functional project Teams. . Expertise in research methods and process improvement, experience using interactive web-based systems, and the ability to work with a technical and service-oriented team of professionals are required. . Strong benefits communication skills are a must - including writing and presenting skills. . Ability to work in multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural teams. . Must possess an in-depth knowledge of state and federal benefits related compliance laws/mandates. Certifications: . CEBS, CBP, PMI, QKA, ASPPA, PMP or global equivalent is preferred.
