Requisition # G1880759 Job Title Sr. Programmer Analyst - Engineering BI (Temp / Contract) Post Date 6/28/2010 Division Information Technology Job Area Information Technology Location California - San Diego Job Function The successful candidate will be responsible for: - Representing IT in the collection of functional requirements for report and dashboard design. Working with business intelligence tools (Cognos Report / Cubes, Business Objects) to architect report specifications. - Drive architecture designs for engineering IT processes, and work with IT infrastructure teams on hardware definitions and system development. - Working with QCT engineering, software development and product test teams; developing metrics which help identify system deficiencies. - Perform ad hoc analysis of IT and engineering metrics using statistical / business analysis methods to help forecast demand for IT resources. - Throughout all phases of the project, this role manages requirements, issues and ensures the delivery of solutions meet customer requirements. Skills/Experience - Two plus years experience in an IT field, preferable engineering or semiconductor industries - Five plus years experience with Oracle and/or PL/SQL or related database technology. - Two plus years experience with business intelligence tools like Cognos, or Microsoft Reporting Services.
Good to Have Skills: - Two plus years knowledge with business analysis, preferable in an IT or product development environment. - Two plus years experience with statistical analysis tools, preferably SAS. Responsibilities - Cognos development. - Oracle data warehousing. - ETL services with Informatica. Education Requirements Preferred: Bachelor's, Computer Science or equivalent experience
