Sr. Programmer/Analyst Aug. 11, 2010 - Sep. 01, 2010 Location: Salt Lake City, UT Salary Range: TBD Exempt/Non-Exempt: Exempt Benefits: Med/Dental/Life/401k Employment Type: Full Time Employer: Centershift, Inc. Description: The Sr. Programmer/Analyst position is part of the software engineering team at Centershift. The position is a full time, exempt position in the Salt Lake City Centershift offices.
Duties include development of commercial software using , Oracle PL/SQL, and other third party development tools. The role will primarily include programming and development activities but may also require customer facing support, interaction, and training and documentation. This position may also require mentoring and training of more junior level employee(s) functioning in similar development roles.
This position is not a management level position.
Duties: ? Work within the overall development teams and R&D department to successfully implement business logic and functionality otherwise supported in Centershift commercial applications, (STORE Enterprise and STORE Advantage). ? Work closely with project managers, system administrators, and development teams during the development, test, and launch phases of the software development life cycle to ensure smooth transition of projects and keep development efforts compliant with audits and standards maintained at Centershift. (SAS-70 and PCI). ? Work within an Agile/Scrum methodology.
Qualifications: ? 3+ years experience with commercial project development/programming. ? Experience with Visual Studio .Net (specifically seeking ) developing windows forms applications. ? Solid experience developing software using web services, experience with SOA approaches to software architecture. ? Understanding of, and experience doing test driven development. ? Solid understanding of relational database concepts and significant experience using Oracle (preferred) or other major RDBMS systems. ? Experience with PDF development, word processing software design/development are highly desired. ? Familiarity with the Agile/Scrum approach to software development. ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ? Ability to quickly learn new technologies. ? College Degree strongly preferred.
