The Senior Programmer Developer is primarily responsible for the design, development, and implementation of software to translate functional specifications into best of class applications.
Accountabilities:
• Develop efficient, fully tested code written to specifications
• Develop and perform unit tests
• Ensure all code is written on time and within budget
• Ensure code integrates seamlessly with the other application components
• Accurate and up-to-date software documentation
Responsibility:
• Develop efficient, best in class code from functional specifications
• Supervise and mentor programmer developers
• Estimate duration of tasks for planning purposes
• Delegate tasks as appropriate to develop software
• Good written and oral English language communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong experience of Object Oriented Development methods to translate functional specifications into working programs
