A growing semiconductor company in the Phoenix, AZ metropolitan area (East Valley) is looking for a Sr. Project Manager with previous IC design experience. We are looking for candidates nationwide willing to relocate to the Phoenix, AZ area. They are responsible for managing projects for Mixed Signal ICs, subsystems, SIP and SOCs Main Objectives of Role:* Owns the project plans for a specific business unit* Managing mixed-signal IC product developments from initial specification to final delivery* Efficient collaboration with the design team, customers and the suppliers to establish and deliver projects on-time and on budget* Project estimation, planning, schedule, resource management and prioritization* Management of the project team, monitor, reporting and control using the company's project management methodology and tools* Project issues management, risk management, change control and escalation management* Motivation of project team, calling and chairing progress review meetings, design reviews etc.* Negotiating technical and commercial trade-offs with the customers* Manage project team members as direct reports to the PM and leading the project team to achieve high levels of productivity and best possible results* Responsible for on-time, on-budget and to-spec completion of complex projectsSkills and Attributes:* Minimum 10 years experience; 5 years experience as IC design engineer and full understanding of full design flows. Minimum 5 years experience as IC project manager* Knowledge for full lifecycle IC project management* Strategic thinking and project solutions driven to impact the business performance* Ability to influence senior business managers on key project goals setting* Track record for external customer interface and delivery of commercially driven projects* Excellent skills: communication, negotiation, motivation, dealing and resolving difficult and complex situations* Project legal and contractual agreements* Flexibility to work to tight and variable timescales* Delivery of global projects and have cultural awareness* Teamwork and collaboration across businesses and customers* Professional Project Management qualification* Hands-on knowledge using Microsoft ProjectQualification* M.S. or Bachelor's degree in EE* Professional Project Management certification (any of PMI, IPMA, APM)With project management expertise in at least one of the following areas:-* Complex IC design* SoC design* SIP designFor consideration, please send your resume to Paul Montoya at
