Job Description Job Family Responsibilities:
Outside Service Sales Specialist for non water Customer Services in the East Region Pittsburgh and Western PA territory. Manages Industrial customers and collaboration efforts in territory for Lifecycle Services and Value Services sales related to Power Distribution, Drives, Motors and Motor Control Centers (MCC), Breakers, Switchgear, Controls, and Automation (PLCs). Service Sales Specialist will own a territory quota for annual Customer Services sales and work closely with Business Units, Industrial Sales, and WT Sales counterparts to achieve goals.
Develops and implements plans for strategic accounts that exceed expectations in revenue retention/growth, account profitability, and customer satisfaction/loyalty. Pursues long-term account strategy that maximizes profits. May identify, develop and manage channel partners to achieve channel goals. Assists in cultivating long-term relationships with the appropriate key account decision makers. Develops a complete understanding of the organizations structure and key buying influences of assigned account. Performs client presentations articulating the value proposition of product / solution / service offerings. Provides management with suggestions for improving volume, market share and price levels. May develop forecasts, budgets and operating plans for sales channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs full range of standard work for the professional field. Refers complex, unusual problems to others. Identifies and resolves more complex problems and applies problem-solving skills in order to deal with most situations. Utilizes strong interpersonal skills for interacting with various social styles within customer accounts and internal organization. Works proactively with others to develop relationships and foster collaboration.
Education:
Typically BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree. Electrical/Mechanical Engineering degree preferred Certification may be required in some areas.
Knowledge and Experience:
Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments. Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. Demonstrates knowledge of organizations business practices and issues. Typically 5-8 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable. Account management experience and background in the Pittsburgh and Western PA market is desirable.

Provides general guidance or train support and/or professional staff.
Key Working Relationships:
Primarily intra-organizational contacts and external contacts.
