The Allscripts ePrescribe product is a web-based electronic prescribing solution available to all physicians in the United States. The Allscripts ePrescribe team is seeking a senior level C# .NET developer to assist with building and maintaining the most successful prescribing solution in the world; with tens of thousands of providers using the solution and generating millions of scripts every year.
The successful candidate will possess extensive application design and programming experience in C# using Visual Studio 2005. Solid knowledge of relational database models and SQL; and the ability to code stored procedures is required. Knowledge of Windows Internet technologies including Windows 2003 Server and IIS 6.0 configuration; along with a strong understanding of Internet and Network security is a must. Experience using AJAX, JavaScript, and CSS experience is also required. The above, in conjunction with excellent communication and teamwork skills define the ideal candidate for this position.
Job Requirements: Required Education, Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
. Computer Science Degree, Information Systems Degree, or equivalent experience. . Minimum of 5 years proven experience designing and developing database-driven, web-based applications. . Minimum of 3 years developing (2.0) web-based applications using C# in Visual Studio 2005, AJAX, JavaScript, and CSS. . Strong working knowledge of SQL Server 2005 Management Studio. . Strong knowledge of SQL and Stored Procedure coding. . Solid understanding of deploying web-based applications in a load-balance Web Farm using Windows 2003 Server and IIS 6.0. . Strong knowledge of Internet and Network Security. . Excellent analytical skills. . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
