Position Summary: The Software Developer 5 is accountable for designing and developing programs for client systems and for providing technical guidance to other members of a team, as well as serving as backup for management. As advisory level, has very high level of technical and product knowledge and is able to operate unsupervised across multiple environments and platforms. Knowledge/Skills required for the Position: * Advanced technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation. * Oracle DBA experience, the position requires part time job as Oracle DBA * Be able to performance tune the Oracle and SQL server queries for the application as needed * In-depth experience in research and analysis, project planning and implementation. Demonstrated exposure to all aspects of applications programming including configuration, maintenance, testing, debugging, coding and design in highly complex programs. * Knowledge and experience with C# or other programming languages a plus, Oracle and SQL database, MS-DOS, Unix OS, Windows 2003 operating systems and workstations. * Demonstrated proficiency working in a client (Host) server/linked environment. * Good quality control/quality assurance understanding. * Excellent understanding of entire development process, including program design, program logic and flow charting, program testing, debugging and documentation. * Excellent analytical and design skills at a multi-product level. * Experience working with system customization, coding and various system configurations. * Experience initiating database maintenance and suggesting revisions to various guidelines. * Excellent skills in research, project planning and implementation. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
