Sr. Software Development Engineer Tracking Code 301323-686 Job Description This position is with BSquare's TestQuest product line. In this position you will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of key features of the TestQuest product line. * Additional key responsibilities include: * Actively contribute to software design and architecture specifications * Develop software features and fix defects * Write unit tests for developed software * Participate in code reviews * Review test cases for developed features * As needed, work with customer support to resolve customer issues * Work closely with the team to impove existing software processes Required Skills * BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field * 7-12 years experience in software development * Excellent C, C++, C# and .NET programming * Strong communication skills * Strong debugging skills * Experience developing TCP/IP socket applications * Experience developing Windows UI desktop applications(using Windows Forms or WPF) * Experience developing based web applications * Experience developing database applications * Experience developing middleware applications (using WCF, Web Services) * Experience developing distributed systems * Experience developing commercial software * Ability to work effectively within a globally distributed engineering team * Ability to work independently, be a self starter * Exposure to Test Automation Software is a plus * Exposure to Mobile/Smartphone software development is a plus Bsquare Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
