Cisco's Cloud Portal software team is looking for a senior software developer to design and build solutions for new generation Cloud Portal for virtual data center.
The successful candidate will design and develop software for next generation of cloud portal for public/private cloud computing. We are looking for a strong Java developer (e.g. 6-10 years) with expert level understanding of a Java based enterprise Web application framework and portals with a range of knowledge and skills listed below.
You have had a great career as a development guru on challenging projects, are an alpha geek and have grown into a senior engineer that can solve problems on an enterprise scale.
Responsibilities:
Deliver features for managing datacenter virtualization in a high performance Enterprise scale cloud portal platform
?. Design, develop, unit test and deliver features end to end from user experience to architecture to backend?
. Build Server side services and user experience for datacenter management
. Work on Platform Scalability, Clustering, Redundancy, High Availability.?
. Work as part of a high performance team in a fast paced, high visibility environment on a Cisco Top 3 initiative
. Collaborate with other teams across locations, mainly India development center in Bangalore.
. Perform as a senior engineer within the product team and within Cisco. Includes ability to take a set of concurrent technical and communication tasks, provide reliable schedules for their execution, and execute them to completion. A self-starter. Works well with others.
. Effective, professional communication - through give and take - with the other engineers, management, marketing, sales, testing, support, partners, suppliers, professional peers and with customers.

8 plus years of experience and a BSCS or equivalent
