Nuance Mobile Care provides mobile subscribers with the ability to solve simple problems including customer care and billing directly and immediately on the handset. It eliminates call waiting queues for customer service agents, creating a great opportunity to operators to reduce costs and provide a positive customer experience. As a member of Nuance Mobile Care development team you will be part of a team which is ever enhancing this mobile care experience on more and more handsets. We offer a dynamic and fast-paced environment, as well as excellent salary/bonuses/benefits. * Design and implement new product features, primarily in Java, Javascript, and XML scripting. * Develop (Oracle) database procedures, scripts and functionality to support Product features. * Create system requirements, design software specifications and develop software architectures for Nuance Mobile Care products * Develop unit tests, work with QA testing of the application and resolve issues. * Support acceptance testing, deployment, and tuning of the application.
Qualifications: * BS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience * 4+ years corporate experience developing software applications in Java and J2EE * 2+years experience using Oracle databases and developing database integrations and schemas * Experience with client/server architectures for large (millions of daily transactions), scalable applications/platforms. * Experience in XML and web development is a big plus * Possess excellent analysis and diagnostic skills * Possess excellent written communications skills * Able to work independently, but seek help when needed
