The successful candidate will have experience planning the testing of enterprise-class commercial software products, and will have a track record of executing against the plan. The candidate will also have excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated passion for learning. A solid understanding of software testing practices, including a broad knowledge of various types of tests, techniques, tools, and technologies is essential. Responsibilities will include acting as a senior level resource on an agile team, handling everything associated with testing an enterprise-class software offering. This includes helping to define requirements, developing plans for testing (strategy, testability, tools, resources, estimating), writing and executing test cases including manual testing, writing automated JUnit tests where appropriate, and acting as the "go to" person for troubleshooting. Required Experience: Minimum of 8 years of related experience with commercial software applications, including with enterprise class systems Solid understanding of QA process, tools, and techniques Experience as owner of test planning and execution for several projects Experience with manual testing, and willingness to include this in some percentage of work Proven ability to troubleshoot and isolate problems in complex systems Firm understanding of object oriented programming with experience using an OO language Minimum two years experience with Java, C#, or C++ Bachelor of Science degree Experience with SQL, XML, web services, Windows admin, Linux admin a plus Experience in an agile environment a plus Experience with healthcare applications a plus Personal Attributes: Prolific learner.
