Sr Systems Administrator Requisition ID 15817 Full/Part Time Full Time Location Madhapur, Description We are currently looking for a qualified Sr. applications/systems engineer to join our team in Redwood City, CA. This is a technical hands-on position responsible for working within the On Demand Delivery team, installing, configuring, troubleshooting and maintaining application environments for our customers and the applications used in the monitoring and management of our internal infrastructure. If you have worked in On Demand Delivery , IT, Professional Services or Customer Service roles then you would be a possible candidate for this role. Key Requirements: . 5+ years in Information Technology field working on a team and delivering technology solution in a production 24x7 environment. . 3+ years with enterprise web applications including Web/Application servers such as Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic . 5+ years working in UNIX and Windows environments. . Strong scripting skills under Windows and UNIX, including perl, php, javascript, etc. . 2+ years experience with open source and off the shelf IT monitoring and management tools. . 2+ years working in a virtual server environment. . Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills. . Veracious appetite for learning new things, not just broad learning but deep also. . Ability to identify potential limitations in application architectures. . Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. . Ability to work in a fast paced environment with little guidance at times. . Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in Computer Science or related discipline. Considered a strong "plus" if the candidate is familiar with: . 2+ years working with CA Clarity, CA Service Desk and other CA applications. . CA ArcServe Backup and Recovery . CA Software Delivery Manager . CA Datacenter Automation . CA Virtual Performance Management (Automation of VMware images) . CA Wily Performance Monitoring . CA Database Command Center .
