Additional information about Frontier Communications is available /> The Senior Systems Analyst has the responsibility for working on projects as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and application systems. The Senior Systems Analyst understands business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. This position is responsible for managing the project requirements throughout the life cycle of a project and following proper Change Management Processes. The Senior Systems Analyst is also responsible for the following project management tasks: development of project milestones, tracking the design, development, and testing progress of the project, documenting and tracking issues and risks, communication of project status to management.
The Application systems the Senior Systems Analyst would be involved with include Billing, Customer Information Systems, CRM, Internet, PC Applications, Salesforce, Shopfrontier, and Data Warehouse.
Minimum Requirements:
* Minimum seven years of Systems Analysis experience, performing duties such as requirements elicitation and documentation, analysis of business and user needs, process and data analysis, functional specifications. At least four years of this experience must be in IT. * Demonstrated ability to produce clear and concise project documentation * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Experience performing use case analysis. * Ability to work on multiple, complex projects concurrently. * A thorough understanding of project management principles, sufficient to manage medium to large IT projects. * Experience in the System Development Life Cycle. * High level understanding of complex Business Processes and Process flows. Has had experience as Subject Matter Expert. * Ability to work either independently or as part of a larger team. * Ability to work under minimal direction. * Ability to think logically in solving assigned problems and to present recommendations with clarity in written and graphic form.
Desirable Requirements:
* Knowledge of IIBA standards and practices. * Business Analyst Certification (IIBA/CBAP). * Knowledge of telecommunications industry. * Experience in Technical Writing such as the creation of system, technical and user documentation, documentation of training materials. * Application Development experience.
