The Cisco Consumer IT group has an opportunity for a talented and experienced Senior Technical Analyst to join our Technical Delivery & Architecture team.
. Lead design and implementation of enterprise content manage systems/solutions across intranet, extranet and public site using J2EE framework and Fatwire CMS. . Guide the development team in designing the asset model, cache strategy and globalization. . Design and implement the service oriented architecture using J2EE,.Net and Fatwire framework that can be leveraged by other platforms for interoperability and scalability. . Develop technical project scope definition and implementation plans to maximize allocation of resources, ensure timeliness of delivery and optimize technology solutions . Provide effective project control by monitoring progress and providing appropriate updates to senior management; Develop performance tracking tools and perform analysis around development metrics and vendor metrics. . Develop and implement methodologies, policies and procedures to ensure that systems and applications are in compliance with and consistent with enterprise standards. . Lead, mentor, and coach IT analysts in making appropriate technical decisions. . Manage IT vendors to ensure timely and excellence delivery of services. . Lead developers in Onsite/offshore model . Maintain productive relationships with business and functional IT colleagues and monitor customer satisfaction levels by maintaining efficient and cost-effective services. . Exercise sound judgment, flexibility, initiative and commitment in an environment of rapid change . Make formal and informal presentations to all levels of management . Describe expectations, goals, requests, or future business operational states in a way that provide clarity and excite interest . Be able to collaborate across team in the decision-making process as warranted in obtaining good information, making the appropriate decisions, and ensuring buy-in and understanding of the resulting decisions . Drive change across teams by providing direction and accountability
Appropriate candidates will have the following skills, qualifications and experience:
. Experience in at least one Enterprise Content Management System, preferably Fatwire. . 8 or more years of experience in Web applications environment using J2EE, .Net, Data Modeling, Data Architecture, Oracle Database, UML Design, HTML and Usability Standards . In-depth knowledge about SOAP, WSDL and UDDI . Web portal integration work that includes Web Presentation, Single-Sign on, Authorization, Content Management, User Provisioning and 3rd party integration . Full life cycle experience in web implementations . Proven ability to handle a number of projects simultaneously . Knowledge of Marketing & Call Center support business process . Experience in onsite/offshore delivery model . Strong organization and problem solving skills that include the ability to respond to changing needs and shifting priorities. . Drive change across teams by providing direction and accountability . Knowledge of J2EE Framework and service oriented architecture . Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
