Perform tasks and responsibilities of an IT/technical nature to support the day-to-day administration and service deliverables of a TBO (typically) client. Areas of responsibilities would include non-core programming to support data management, modification of jobs, and/or IT administrator.
May perform one or more of the following related to DC, DB or HW:
Create, monitor, or review test plans for data related system and interface changes regression, unit, integration testing.
Execute test plans and/or analyze testing results for data related system and interface changes.
Perform tasks related to production move requests.
Provide production support for all inbound and outbound interfaces, .
Create and track Test SSNs needed for all testing work.
Perform discipline specific Calc and non-Calc debug requests.
Support batch calculation setup and submission in Client and Test environments
Perform analysis and execution tasks for data cleanup.
Develop written Business Requirement Documentation (BRD) or Technical Specifications for projects and ongoing administration, and maintain the BRD for accuracy.
Maintain data dictionaries and data mapping documents.
Fulfillment maintenance.
Perform adhoc SQL query and reports.
Review all data related error reports and provide feedback and resolution as necessary.
Qualifications
DB specific:
May include calc and non calc programming changes.
Provide automated calculation product support.
Support DB calc and non-calc debug requests, including data analysis.
HW specific:
Knowledge of and ability to respond to default processing issues.
Ensure GI calc for retiree medical is in sync with DB
Annual enrollment includes calc updates for actives and retirees, worksheet updates, retiree cost changes, client and management reporting
Data Specific:
Ability to understand data structures, data relationships, and principles of data analysis.
Understanding end-to-end process flows and functional relationships.
Process and monitor inbound and outbound HRIS, payroll, vendor, client, and pension payroll files.
Create, submit, and manage TSRs and perform data related research/issue requests and ad-hoc data loads.
Reconciliation and validation of data received including creation of error reports and the coordination of error resolution.
Data conversions.
Monitor and review the creation and maintenance of production calendars.
Manage and/or be responsible to resolve data cleanup initiatives.
Create and maintain process documentation for HR/PR, Interface Control and BRDs.
Create and/or review the documentation to support new and/or updated processes from implementation to ongoing data group.
Manage the maintenance of the PITT database and Knowledge Source to ensure all process information is current.
A seasoned, experience professional with a full understanding in area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
