Our client in the Mortgage/Banking Industry is looking for multiple Senior Technical Project Managers in Plano. These are full-time opportunities.
Description
The Project Manager is responsible for effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on infrastructure, launching systems, and operational projects. This position will directly support all departments providing project leadership for large, cross-functional, new product and support deployments as well as various special projects, while leveraging existing PMO methodologies and procedures.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Create work breakdown structure, project plan including schedule and resource planning, critical path analysis, business and technical analysis, coordination of work efforts between work packages and organizations, strategic recommendations, scheduling, task assignment, technical and project documentation, meeting summaries, status reports, risk and issue management, change management, among others.
* Create and maintain project plan ? coordinating with Client on tasks and timeline to support on-time delivery
* Lead cross-functional development teams of more complex initiatives, coordinating external and internal resources
* Provide day-to-day project leadership and decision making on critical project issues as they pertain to project scope, value, schedule, budget, methodology and resources at project, functional and task levels
* Manage 3rd party vendors (internal and external) as an integral part of the project team's activities
* Produce internal and client reporting - dashboards
* May perform other duties and responsibilities that management deems necessary
* Manage all aspects of implementations from a project management perspective.
* Assist in developing initial project plan and implementation timeline, maintain plan and coordinate plan with Client.
* Engage internal resources based on project plan and timeline, manage client expectations throughout project, drive project execution and identify issues and risks.
* Report to implementation team, internal management and client project details, status and issues.
* Implementations PM role - Manage all aspects of implementations from a project management perspective. * Create/maintain Implementation Workgroup packages used to support project and Client status meetings ? containing: agenda, client deliverables, RT deliverables, Specification tracking, issues/risk tracking, task list
* Hold internal and client project teams accountable for task execution and project timeline
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Computer Science.
* 5 years of project management preferably in large IT and Infrastructure projects
* Comprehensive Knowledge of MS Office Suite with emphasis on MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint ? MS Access would be a plus
* Experience leading discussions and meetings to coordinate multiple, complex activities across various business units
