Job Description – Sr. Technical Writer
As a key member of the Redknee Product Documentation Team, you will be responsible for the designing, authoring and delivering high quality, reliable, sustainable, and accurate technical Documents to satisfy the customer needs.

Roles and Responsibilities
· Authors the user and task oriented Technical Documents
· Primes the independent product line or solution
· Understands the design documents and generates the documentation impact based on design
· Estimates efforts on the basis of the documentation impact
· Proactively seeks the inputs from SMEs
· Distribute Technical Document for Technical Review
· Identify and standardize the review comments
· Updates the technical review comments
· Participates in Peer Reviews
· Handles complex responsibilities and assignments
· Identifies and resolves standard problems on own
· Mentors and supports developing individuals
Technical Skills
An ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of core Technical Writing experience and expertise on majority of the below listed areas:
· Expertise on experience with Robo Help, FrameMaker, MS Word, Snag IT or other image capturing tools
· Must have handled at least 8 DDLC (Document Development Life Cycle) from end-to-end perspective
· Expert level of knowledge for Documentation Process
· Efficient grammatical skills and awareness about global Product Documentation Standards
· Intermediate level understanding of telecom domain
· Must have worked in team with geographically distributed environment
Soft Skills
· Efficiently able to produce quality document with minimal wasted efforts
· Exhibits quick learning and proficiently absorbing new information
· Has a eye for detail and demonstrates tenacity to go reach to distance for achieving work results
· Effectively adopts changes and demonstrates a passion and can do attitude
· Speaks and writes clearly and articulately without being overly verbose or talkative and is able to convince through all forms of communication
· Able to provide technical leadership to developing individuals
· Effective presentation skills
Educational Qualification
Bachelor or Masters Degree, preferably in Engineering or Science
