Job Overview: - The Technical Writer - Network Operations role is to develop written information about the organization's computer Network Operations systems that aid in their development, use, and support - Working in tandem with the Bank's Infrastructure Technology Solutions (ITS) Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), the outputs of this role will include: business process flows represented in swim-lane diagrams; detailed, step-by-step operational procedures - Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs); technical standards; a range of documents to be read by both technical and non-technical personnel across the ITS teams - Ensure adherence to organization's procedures and standards - Establish organization's priorities for development - Ensure proper identification and dissemination of resource material - Coordinate staff information and provide update meetings Job Responsibilities: - Organize material and complete writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, style and terminology - Gather information about target audience needs and analyze how to structure and format information to meet those needs - Acquire expert knowledge about the product's functionality and features - Create auxiliary resources such as diagrams if required - Rewrite and edit drafts after they have been reviewed by technical experts for accuracy - Meet required deadlines Skills: - Large experience with: Process Mapping concepts and tools; BPR concepts; development of SOPs; MS-Visio; publishing software packages; MS-Office applications - Knowledge of ITIL framework, HTML and website development tools are nice to have - University degree or college diploma with experience in the IT industry Qualifications: - Adobe Acrobat PDF (Portable Document Format) - 1+ Years - Document Development - 5+ Years - Hardware Manuals - 2+ Years - Microsoft Office - 5+ Years - Operation Guides - 2+ Years - Prior work experience in Business Process Flow - 3+ Years - Systems Documentation - 1+ Years - Technical Writing - 5+ Years - Visio - 2+ Years When you have some time please register in our database (5 minute process) to be considered for future openings; the link is available on our website at in the Candidate section.
