SR Telecom Systems Administrator
Senior - Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of particular field of specialization to the completion of moderately difficult assignments.
This level is for the Fully Competent Professional (it is expected that all competent professionals will reach this level).
Define and analyze ACD/PBX layouts for multiple sites and recommend changes.
Monitor architecture of PBX systems and make recommendations to improve systems.
Ensure changes in applications have desired effects and monitor progress of implementing changes.
Direct the analysis of voice traffic patterns and circuit utilization and supervise activities of Telecom System Administrators I & II.
Other duties as assigned.
Duties and tasks are standardized with new assignments receiving more detailed instructions. Generally, work is observed and reviewed both during performance and upon completion, and changes in procedures or exceptions to rules are explained in detail as they arise. Resolves most questions and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels

Requirements:
Must be fluent in English verbal and written communications.
· Knowledge of ACD/PBX/Voice Mail construction and best practices.
· Knowledge of modern business communication systems.
· Ability to interact positively, courteously and professionally with customers, employees and clients.
· Basic math knowledge to calculate percentages.
· Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
· Solid knowledge of telecommunications equipment and applications.
· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
· Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals.
· Associate's degree in related field, MCSE or equivalent experience required.
· Five (5) years professional experience required
· 24/7 On-call requirement, alternating weeks
· Up to 25% Travel
