Overview:
Under general direction, independently develops, modifies, and implements moderately to highly complex information systems that are thorough and accurate and conform to MST standards. Translates customer requirements, recommending system solutions and formulating detailed specifications from which programs are written. Independently researches and resolves more complex technical problems. A top level technical contributor in one or more highly specialized phases of application system analysis and programming with strong business application knowledge. May serve as primary system support for two or more complex information systems based on in-depth system knowledge. May serve in the MST Solutions Framework roles of Development Lead, Project Manager, Testing Advocate, or Operations Advocate.

Key Accountabilities:
2 - 3 years writing and executing test cases in multiple areas (required)
2 - 3 years experience writing SQL to validate data and test others code (required)
2 -3 years experience using Teradata Utilities (a plus)
2- 3 years experience Teradata SQL (a plus)
2 -3 years experience COBOL & JCL (a plus)
2-3 years Mainframe experience (a plus)
2 years of DB2 testing experience (a plus)
Candidate can demonstrate:
Strong Testing
Strong functional understanding of the business and the underlying business process; interact with other areas of the business
Strong understanding of emerging applications and business solutions
Ability to manage time well, organize and prioritize
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong leadership, facilitation, elicitation and interpersonal skills with the ability to form effective partnerships across functional lines and at many levels within MST and at divisions
Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, consensus building and problem solving skills.
Ability to take the initiative, as required, to keep the project on track by partnering with Project Manager.
Good understanding of analytical techniques such as data modeling, process modeling, etc.
Advanced presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
Strong understanding of data relationships
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for writing System/Integration Test Plans and coordinating integrated testing
Independently test and report bugs/defects using ""BUG TRACKER""
Ability to collect and define testing requirements and translate these into a Testing Plan and Test cases
Required knowledge on database, tables and their relationship; Experience in working with RDBMS database and ability to write SQL and analyzing data is a must.
Ability to utilizes Data Mapping documents on how to relate source to target objects within the warehouse to build test cases.
Responsible for creating, developing and executing scripts that execute Teradata macros
Participate in code reviews
Develop detailed test cases in a data warehouse environment
Knowledgeable on ETL processing - storing data in data warehouse.
Knowledge on how business reporting and data are related.
