AutoReqId 6568BR Job Title Staff Network Systems Administrator SanDisk Job Description In this position, the individual be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and operating networked systems that include routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, WAN optimization appliances, IP Voice and IP Video. The individual will also be responsible for leadership and mentoring of other team members and bridging business needs to technical solutions in addition to technical duties.
This position requires a BS/BA degree or equivalent with 7 or more years of related experience with architecting, deploying, and operating multinational WANs, large scale data centers, Campus Networks, and VoIP. The individual must have a thorough understanding of networking principles such as the OSI mode, TCP/IP, Ethernet, MPLS, 802.3ad EtherChannel, LACP, Spanning Tree, etc, while proven expertise with Cisco IOS, NX-OS, and Call Manager/Unity are advantages. The individual must have proven expertise with Netscaler 8.0+, Riverbed RiOS, Juniper ScreenOS, and IVE, while JunOS experience is a plus. Lastly, the individual must have experience with Packet Sniffing tools such as Wireshark or NI Observer, must possess strong oral and written communication skills and time management proficiency, and the ability to function independently with minimal supervision.
