The iRise Strategic Account Manager (SAM) is responsible for pre-sales technical account management and post-sales customer relationship management for iRise customers. This New York SAM will be teamed with a Vice President to support sales of the iRise Enterprise solution and owns the technical aspects of the sales and support lifecycle.

Qualifications: - Pre-sales and post-sales support experience for an enterprise software platform - Requirements management and/or application prototyping experience - Application development experience on medium to large projects - Software development process customization and implementation experience (preferably RUP, XP, Agile methods) - Experience with existing requirements management tools such as RequisitePro, DOORS, and Caliber RM - Experience with SAP projects & knowledge of the SAP solution portfolio in presales, consulting or implementation roles - Strong oral and written communication skills - Strong presentation skills - Ability to work effectively with customers at staff, department head, and VP levels - Strong analytical problem-solving and collaboration skills - Ability and desire to work on a high-performance team - Ability to work under high-pressure situations, particularly at quarter-end
Responsibilities: Pre-sales tasks include: - Performing technical qualification of potential customer opportunities - Performing solution development prompting of customer individuals - Evaluating existing requirements definition and prototyping activities within customer development processes - Organizing and presenting public seminars - Leading product demonstrations and process discussions - Working with regional partners on business development opportunities - Defining Proof Strategies - Technical management of customer Proof activities - Assisting in the definition of sales strategies
Sales tasks include: - Manage and cultivate effective working relationships with clients. - Execute programs and tactics for selling products and services based on the local strategy.
Post-sales tasks include: - Assisting in the definition of implementation plans - Managing product roll-outs and upgrades - Ongoing customer relationship management to ensure customer success - Identifying up-selling opportunities within existing customers
