Job Description:
The Summer Intern responsibilities include:
VB scripting
EZtrieve, Mainframe skills
Microsoft Office (strong Microsoft Access)
Ability to modify verification steps
Create execution logic to run jobs in product test environment
Develop a repository for the test data
Build a process to extract data from production files for test purposes
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office
Candidate must be at least a Junior studying in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline. The candidate must have good logic skills, knowledge of VB scripting and Microsoft office applications. Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Viable candidates must be currently enrolled in a 4-year degreed college/university program while working at UPS during the summer. The viable candidate must be able to work 32-40 hours per week May – Aug 2012.
Primary Skill: VB Scripting
Additional Skills: Mainframe Environment - Beginner Testing environment a plus LAN Technologies - Beginner EZtrieve, Beginner QTP, Beginner Microsoft Office - Intermediate
Education: The desired Intern will be working toward a 4-year degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics or related discipline.

U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
No relatives who are employed by UPS or any of its subsidiaries.
