DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Responsible to maximize and manage cross platform sales efforts particularly interactive advanced media advertising. This position will be in charge of integrating these efforts into the overall local, regional and national sales structure and culture. - Consistently meet or exceed interactive revenue budget by inspiring, motivating, and leading sales managers and sellers. - Be an active participant in the annual budget and business plan process including developing and monitoring monthly revenue goals by product, office and account executive. - Be the in-house expert on the marketplace for interactive products including knowledge of Comcast's current product and future enhancements, competitive media and research such as @plan and AdRelevence. - Educate Sales Managers and sales teams on advanced media through face-to-face office presentations, one-on-one interaction including client calls and by fielding requests from the sales team. - Develop customized presentations based on specific client needs that will increase overall advertising revenue by helping to sell cross-platform campaigns that include interactive and advanced media elements. - With guidance and support from Marketing, develop positioning pieces, sales sheets, packages, presentations and other collateral materials that will position Comcast Spotlight as a leader in the advertising community. - Attend meetings and presentations with Account Executives and without, and proactively communicate with existing and potential clients about the value of Comcast Spotlight's advanced media tools. - Provide custom cross-media solutions to promote new business, enhance value and gain market share with broadcast clients. - Build strong manager and seller relationships in order to expedite the sell-in process of interactive initiatives. - Have the ability and experience to present Comcast Spotlight products to the larger media market in a dynamic, intelligent, credible and precise fashion. - Act as a liaison between the Seattle sellers and the West Division/corporate. - Continually improve interactive products, in terms of both advertiser results and consumer performance, by devising interactive marketing strategies, implementing tactics and analyzing results in the Seattle market and enterprise-wide. - Educate and train Comcast Spotlight Sales Managers and Account Executives on the benefits of cross-media products and applications. - Stay current on industry news and proactively communicate and share with our markets leadership. - Constantly train a growing advanced media sales and operations team. - When needed recruit and directly manage interactive sellers (during periods of incubation) utilizing customer-focused sales system, talent focused management system and account list management system. - Manage product distribution, trafficking and overall sales tracking and ensure that interactive production processes are followed. - Troubleshoot problems with interactive products and implement solutions in a timely fashion. - Leverage Seattle market resources including marketing, research, field marketing, Vehix and other division and corporate groups to further interactive sales in the Seattle market. - Be aware of all competitive media's strengths and weaknesses and be able to sell Cable's advantages in comparison. - Maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct at all times when representing Comcast Spotlight. - Other duties as assigned.
