Primary Function & Major Responsibilities Responsible for installing, maintaining, and resolving problems relating to local and remote hardware, including terminals, printers, personal computer hardware, software, operating systems, technical knowledge to work on projects and represent IT Client pare and configure desktops, laptops, printers, terminals, PDAs, digital cameras, and other rdinates disposal of IT hardware and vide and maintain information for coordinating out-sourced services which include replacement, warranty, and port, troubleshoot, assemble, install, and configure new computing resources, including hardware, software and ts and implements new solutions for projects and System AnalystsResearches and troubleshoots software and hardware questions and vides client services to end usersProvides backup for other IT staff when ends seminars, courses, etc. to keep up with technological advances in the area of IT.
Qualifications Education: Associate degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and ptias A+ certification a must.
Experience: Minimum of two years experience in Information Systems or related field.
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Computer hardware (understanding of individual components as well as underlying technologies).Operation and interaction of computer rating systems basic-DOS, Windows, NT, XP, lication working principals and gnostic utilities and other research tools for troubleshooting and issues d communication and interpersonal dership skills as needed on IT vide technical support and service for major projects and ernet know how for accessing software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, olve problems accurately in the shortest amount of lity to learn new software and hardware to be supported by onstrate ability to lift and move equipment (up to 50 pounds).Valid Minnesota driver's license and t have dependable vehicle to travel to HealthEast sites and transport IT hardware and lity to communicate with department staff in a concise technical manner and convey and resolve issues; able to work with all levels of customers in a confidential and collaborative Call on weekends and after hours as scheduled with other IT Support ular/Temporary
