Contributes to logistics product support to ensure sustainment capability of products and services; researches and provides technical information used to develop and maintain logistics products and engineering data. Contributes to the development of systems support requirements. Contributes to logistics support influence on product designs. Provides assistance in responding to customer inquiries. Contributes to the evaluation and implementation of engineering changes.
Performs logistics product support to ensure sustainment capability of moderately-complex products and services; researches and provides technical information used to develop and maintain logistics products and engineering data. Establishes systems support requirements, approaches and solutions; develops and documents processes. Provides logistics support influence on product designs; determines and develops supportability-related design approaches and solutions. Supports the data collection and analysis needs to respond to customer inquiries. Proposes, evaluates, validates, approves and implements engineering changes. Provides logistics support input for proposal development.

General knowledge of the interaction between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-Logistics processes (e.g., Engineering, Business, Operations) with a general understanding of Support Equipment (SE) relationship/ impact to facilities and the various Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) disciplines and interaction between departments. Understands and plans for Support Equipment (SE) Installation.
Preferred - Complete knowledge of integrated logistics support disciplines, including logistics engineering, logistics support analysis, technical publications, support equipment, spares, provisioning, field services, maintenance, etc., supporting product lifecycle. Complete knowledge of the interaction between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-Logistics processes (e.g., Engineering, Business, Operations). Complete knowledge of the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) disciplines and the interaction between departments in order to resolve issues related to Support Equipment (SE) installations.
• Interpret Engr Data
Basic - General understanding and knowledge of engineering data (e.g., blueprints, data sets, specifications, logic diagrams, electrical circuit schematics) to interpret, analyze, and develop data for support requirements.

• Maintenance Programs
Basic - General knowledge and understanding of the principles of preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

Typical Education/Experience
Level 2 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Level 3 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Other Job related information
AH-64 helicopter experience preferred.
