Description
Key Role: Provide Windows 2003 and UNIX systems administration support to a fast-paced organization and provide IT support to US Military installations across the US. Interact directly with the customer performing problem resolution for UNIX, including Solaris and Windows 2003 and XP based server and desktop systems. Provide operations and maintenance support on all software and hardware related infrastructure, including operating systems, applications, and hardware upgrades and maintaining a high server and workstation availability. Interact daily with local and remote customers, other contractor teams, network service organizations, and Military and other DoD organizations. This position is located in San Antonio, TX.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: -4+ years of experience with supporting a Windows client and server environment -Experience with supporting Exchange 2000 and 2003 -Experience with supporting Microsoft Office -Experience with performing data backup operations, including NetBackup and EMC Networker -TS/SCI clearance -HS diploma or GED -MCSE Certification in Windows 2000 or 2003 in the first year of hire
Additional Qualifications: -4 years of experience with supporting a Windows client and server environment -Experience with Symantec NetBackup, EMC (Legato) Networker, NetApp Filer Storage, Microsoft SMS, or Exchange 2003 and 2007 -MCSE, MCSA, CCNA, or Security+ Certification preferred
