Systems Administrator----SANS/Net Backup
Northrop Grumman Technical Services is seeking a SANS/Net Backup Administrator for a program in the Denver, CO area. The System Administrator will provide general technical maintenance support services for the sustainment of a federal agency's Enterprise Backup activities and the SAN/NAS hardware and software at the Denver Federal Center. The incumbent will interact with users and evaluate vendor products and will assist the bureau's State IT technical support staff in the documentation and configuration of the new hardware and software.
Basic Qualifications: • Must be familiar with Denver Federal Center-based SAN systems including EMC Symmetrix DMX3, EMC Clariion CX4-240, EMC Clariion CX3-80 and NAS Gateway NS-502g for operation, maintenance and support.
• Must have experience to provide maintenance and support for SAN Fibre Channel Switches including Brocade DS-4100, DS-5300, Brocade/McData 4020, 20-port FC Switch Modules, and Q-Logic 20 port, 8Gb FC Switch Modules arranged in both an ISL Trunk configuration and an Edge/Core configuration.
• Must have experience in the operation of large scale, enterprise level Storage Area Networks and Net Back-up Systems to include related hardware and software, use of SAN systems, preferably EMC products; operation, maintenance and support of NAS Gateways; and maintenance and support for SAN Fiber Channel Switches, with switch modules arranged in an ISL Trunk configuration and an Edge/Core configuration.
Preferred Qualifications: • Experience of at least 6 years with large scale enterprise -level SAN and Net Back-up Systems
• Experience of at least 6 years in the operation and maintenance of SAN systems, preferably EMC Symmetrix DMX3, EMC Clariion CX4-240, EMC Clariion CX3-80
• Operation, maintenance and support of NAS Gateways, preferably NAS Gateway NG-502g
• Maintenance and support for SAN Fiber Channel Switches, preferably including: Brocade DS-4100, DS-5300, Brocade/McData 4020, 20-port FC Switch Modules, Q-Logic 20 port, 8 Gb FC Switch Modules
