Responsibilities * Design and develop ETL jobs for transforming and loading various targets using Informatica, Oracle PL/SQL and Unix scripts * Works with business analysts to understand customer needs and transform a business requirements document into technical requirements and detailed specifications * Interface with the Database Administration group to ensure proper configuration of database objects in support of ETL code * Interface with the Data Architects to define the appropriate data structures for sources and targets * Performance tune SQL statements and work with DBAs to tune database objects as they relate to ETL code * Develop stored procedures, database triggers and SQL queries to support ETL solutions * Support production load processes, troubleshoot issues and correct load problems * Experience using Informatica including mappings, sessions and workflows * Informatica PowerCenter * Experience using Oracle including PL/SQL development * Experience using Oracle 10G, 11G * Experience in Informatica/SAP integration (5 yrs Informatica exp preferred) * Strong experience in distribution businesses * Experience creating Unix shell scripts * PowerCenter Mappings experience includes flat files, XML and Oracle sources and targets * Strong experience with Informatica SAP and IMS adapters * Experience in dealing with unstructured and structured file format * Experience in integrating webMethods flow services with Informatica workflows * Strong experience in Data Modeling * Working experience with DX/DT * Strong experience in performance tuning Informatica workflows and PL/SQL * Professional presence with effective interpersonal and communication skills * Well developed written and spoken English language skills Required Education and Experience: * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience * 8 Years experience Including experience in analysis and development
