This position develops the tools needed to manage WakeMed's client environment of over 5400 devices. This position establishes the standard for desktop management and has expert knowledge of: scripting to automate application installation; registry and file system of Windows XP; Active Directory and local Group Policy; use and editing of MSI files; application packaging. Previous experience with an enterprise desktop management suite, especially Altiris, is preferred.
Experience Requirements :
One to two years of IT experience in a similar clinical or technical department preferably in a health care environment. Demonstrated ability to support the IT application's utilized to maximize the performance of the assigned department.
Education Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare related field or equivalent work experience.
