Systems Analyst II Physician Practice

At WakeMed the Systems Analyst II, Physician Practice position is responsible for the following: Formulates/defines IT application scope and performance objectives that reflect an understanding of applicable business and clinical systems, business practices, and industry requirements. Functions as first level response for the development and modification of the practices' IT application and hardware. Guides practice management in the use of IT applications to maximize performance and management decision making. Maintains system documentation. Functions as a liaison to IS, other department system analysts and vendors.
Experience Requirements :
Two to four years of IT experience in a similar clinical or technical department preferably in a health care environment. Demonstrated ability to support the IT application's utilized to maximize the performance of the assigned department. Demonstrated expertise in implementing and supporting Practice Management applications such as GE Centricity/FlowCast (GE Business), RealMed, TeleVox, etc. in a large physician practice setting is preferred.
Education Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Related Field or equivalent work experience.
