Systems Analyst II (STARS)
The selected applicant will provide overall technical and training support for the STARS DoD Operational Support Facility (OSF) located in St. Inigoes, Maryland. Evaluate STARS system operational performance, both hardware and software, and provide recommendations for improvement. Develop and edit training materials as required. Interface with customers to ensure project continuity and efficiency. Will be responsible for maintaining several of the more than 80 DoD STARS databases, updating site specific information, utilizing Microstation to create and update site maps, and providing technical support for the STARS operating systems.
This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidate. Applicants must be currently residing in or willing to relocate to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.

Requirements:High School Diploma and a minimum of 6 years of ATC experience. Minimum of 3 years Approach Control experience. Familiarity with FAA Air Traffic/Airspace Procedures and publications. Strong research, problem solving, and teamwork skills. Experience with Military Air Traffic Control procedures. Excellent customer communication ferences:STARS/MEARTS Automation experience 3 Years operational experience with STARS MS Office Program applications familiarity UNIX operating language familiarity
