Systems Analyst Company: Kratos Job Family: N/A Location: Norfolk, VA Status: Full Time Job Description Technical writer/editor/validator/developer for U.S. Navy Combat Systems Interface Diagrams technical documents. Applicants must have a broad knowledge of shipboard Combat Systems equipment and specific recent operator/technician knowledge of :
- Shipboard Air/Surface Search Radars and/or Navigation Systems currently installed on LHA1, LHA6, LHD1, LPD17, and LSD42 ship classes.
- Shipboard Local Area Networks, Combat Information Systems to include Global Command and Control ? Maritime (GCCS-M), Integrated Shipboard Network Systems (ISNS), etc.
Must have the ability to trace and draw shipboard power, cooling water and dry/low pressure air systems aboard ship. Must have the ability to interpret applicable technical documentation including installation drawings and technical manuals to extract the necessary data to develop, edit and ship check interface diagrams. Prefer applicant be familiar with XML, ISO Draw programs, however, training can be provided to a computer literate applicant. Attention to detail and accuracy are a must. U.S. Navy training as Fire Control Technician, or Electronics Technician a plus.
Travel ? Requires an average of 6 to 8 weeks a year. Qualifications Required skills:
? 2+ years shipboard Combat Systems experience
? Strong Analytical Skills, Excellent Communication Skills.
? Experience working in a focused, dynamic, team environment with accountable deadlines.
? Experience consulting with clients and Subject Matter Expert?s.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to include PowerPoint and Visio.
? Experience with XML and ISO Draw programs.
? Excellent written, presentation and team skills are required.

? Associates in related engineering field, work experience can substitute.
