POSITION PURPOSE
The Finance Systems Web Admin Support Analyst provides primary technical support for all web based applications deployed within the ACS Finance Systems application suite. The position is responsible for timely troubleshooting and analysis of issues through solution determination to reduce downtime and maintain data integrity across supported Finance Systems platforms. This position will develop specifications for changes and enhancement requests received from operational business groups as well as from the finance/corporate organization. The analyst will also develop test plans and manage small project plans. This resource is responsible for insuring that all service level expectations are met with covered organizations/users of finance applications and processes.
This position requires a thorough knowledge and experience with relational databases, primarily SQL, and a high level of comfort integrating with technology, including all aspects of client server computing, Microsoft Office, and the extended Suite of Office tools.
The incumbent will be expected to perform job duties with minimal oversight. Must be a self starter who consistently demonstrates the ability to produce results and resolve complex problems. Quality of work is key as errors can cause delay, expense, and/or disruption.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent will perform:
Tier-3 level support for the Finance systems and applications being used world-wide. This includes:
o Manage Help Desk escalations
o Troubleshoot and close escalated help desk tickets
Maintenance of Web application configurations
Create and maintain system procedure documentation and other communication for users as required
Develop and deliver training for new and existing Finance Applications
Preparation of documentation related to the deployment, operation and support of applications and systems environment
Plan and coordinate application migrations from test to production environments
On call support and capacity to work within a team structure to insure a 24/7 production environment.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree preferred
3 to 5 years related experience
Candidates must have technical comfort working with database applications
Knowledge of JD Edwards Financial Systems, and or SAP is desired, but not required.
Knowledge of Thomson Elite Financial Management systems, is a bonus, but not required.
Able to work independently with minimal oversight. Strong initiative, the ability to motivate peers and the ability to work independently within a team structure. Ability to interact in a service-oriented environment.
Self starter who is highly motivated to achieve results.
Superior communication skills; fluent written and spoken English. Ability to communicate effectively with business constituents at all levels verbally and in writing. Spanish as a second language is a bonus.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Fluent knowledge of MS Office applications.
Flexibility and the ability to operate under stressful, time-sensitive deadlines.
Maturity of judgment under pressure/ability to resolve problems without delay and/or to seek support when required.
Superior analytical and problem solving skills.
