Systems Engineer 3\4
A RADAR systems engineer/analyst is required to support the Missiles and Unmanned Airborne Systems (MUAS) organization. Position will be responsible for airborne RADAR concept development, architecture definition, functional and performance analysis, system/subsystem design, integration, test and documentation of new radar subsystems including missile seekers and UAV sensors. Candidate will evaluate customer mission requirements in order to derive/establish RADAR system design requirements including all RF analog and digital functions. Position will be actively involved in research and development of advanced RADAR technologies and applications.. Experience supporting RADAR integration and test is also highly desired. The candidate must be able to communicate with the customer both verbally (informally and in formal presentations) and in writing.
Experience is desired in the design/development of airborne radars particularly for missile seeker applications. Knowledge of missile guidance, radar signal processing, and RF analog/digital performance analysis and design is desired. Experience in the integration/test of airborne RADAR systems is also desired. Knowledge of detection and estimation theory and practice is highly desired. Candidate should also have some experience in RADAR antenna design or integration. The ability to operate successfully in a team environment is essential and demonstrated leadership is desired. The ability/willingness to travel is required. Applicant must hold within the last 5 years, minimum a DOD Secret Clearance. US citizenship is required.
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

Do you have a current/active Secret security clearance or a Single-Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)? (Note: If you held a security clearance within the last two years, your clearance is considered current/active).
Typical Education/Experience
Level 3 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Level 4 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
