It provides a foundation for Rockwell Automation's reputation of excellence and knowledge of automation technology. Typical activities include Proof of Concept programming, control system design review, technical presentation, application notes development and application throughput testing, and startup engineering support. Advanced knowledge of the application of Rockwell Automation core products and systems: Motion Control, Logix, NetLinx, Operator Interface, PLC, I/O, Presence Sensing and Software as they relate to application are essential. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor of Science or higher degree in a technical field (ie: BS Electrical Engineering, BS Engineering Technology, BS Computer Science) or equivalent knowledge in personal computer hardware/software, or industrial and process controls. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
. Strong applied systems knowledge in main focus area of expertise and related areas. . Strong interpersonal skills that include multiple languages and cultures. Extensive experience interacting with multicultural customers and the successful resolution of their unique requirements. . General knowledge of control systems and computer technology. . Well-developed troubleshooting abilities. . General familiarity with test equipment and software. . Typically 5+ years of control and/or computer system experience.
