Our Cambridge client has a one year contract opportunity for an Application Support Analyst. This position is part of a three person team providing 24 hour support and troubleshooting for their Oracle Pharmaceutical Applications platform. This team also provides similar services for other applications as assigned. The position will encompass the following responsibilities: Analyzing and troubleshooting problems encountered by internal and external users of validated clinical and drug safety applications Creating and testing customizations for existing applications .Performing installations of application patches and customizations Acting as the testing specialist as required on assigned applications Creating required documentation for assigned applications Following required procedures to coordinate with other IT groups for troubleshooting, installations, and upgrades Participating in the creation of system and support documentation for custom applications .Maintaining all required documentation and records The successful individual should have familiarity with the following, or similar, software applications: Oracle Clinical, TMS, RDC, CRFTrack, and AERS Technical Requirements: Working knowledge of Unix, Oracle version 9i to current versions Sufficient knowledge of IIS, Apache, Web Services, Active Directory, Group Policies, File/Share Security, and Networks to effectively troubleshoot application performance issues. Successful candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience as a systems administrator or support analyst of Oracle Pharmaceutical Applications Education: BS in Computer Science or related field
