Job Description:
The Tech User Rep Specialist will be responsible for:
Coordination and resolution of technical production issues
Reviewing production issues when submitted to ensure required information is gathered
Monitoring and communicating progress of investigations
Validating and communicating results of investigations
Documenting production issues as appropriate
Participating in activities to ensure efficient support of existing systems
Reviewing functional designs and creating training materials for system training
Identifying areas for improvement and analyzing cost savings and/or revenue opportunities.
The Tech User Rep Specialist must possess:
General knowledge of hardware & software
Good analytical skills
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks with minimal oversight
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to analyze issues and make decisions based on multiple information sources
Ability to work in a team environment
Additional Skills:
Microsoft Office - Intermediate
Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or related discipline is preferred, or the equivalent in education and work experience.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
No relatives who are employed by UPS or any of its subsidiaries.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business.
