Job Description: Architecture Innovation professionals are responsible for understanding new software and systems technologies that are emerging in use within Accentures clients, driving the initial assets and early engagements using these technologies.  As an Architecture Innovation professional, you will be responsible for developing deep skills in areas of emerging technology and for identifying ways in which such technology can be used by Accenture to deliver differentiated solutions and services to clients. Architecture Innovation professionals have diverse, technology-centric backgrounds, have experience in delivering solutions based on advanced technology and are self-starters who are enthusiastic about technology and have a deep personal interest in working on the leading edge. Responsibilities include the following:
Become familiar with a variety of emerging technologies, both generally and in particular areas of specialization. Contribute to the design and creation of initial points of view, assets and service offerings that use emerging technologies.  Drive and work on Accentures pioneering engagements based on the assets and service offerings.  Perform technology architecture and infrastructure design activities, portions of technology build, test and deployment activities, refine and enhance architecture and framework, as well as troubleshoot and debug technology integration problems. Ability to travel 100% (Monday - Friday). 

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in one or more of the following areas -
  • Application Design - User Interface and Experience, Data and Business Process Modeling
  • Application Development - Delivery through the Software Delivery Life Cycle
  • Application, Technical and Integration Architectures - Design Patterns and Frameworks
  • Infrastructure Architectures - Data Center Planning and Networking
  • Security Architectures - Authentication, Authorization, Encryption, Single Sign-On and Intrusion Detection
  • Distributed software development and the supporting tools and environments
  • Infrastructure and systems operations architectures
• Minimum of 2 years experience with object oriented programming languages (Java, C#, C++, Ruby, Scala)
• Minimum of 1 years experience managing a technical team
• Minimum of a Bachelors Degree

• Preferred skills:
  • Prior experience working in areas of emerging technology and driving new points of view and capabilities.
  • Experience in defining the following architecture aspects: Availability, Maintainability, Operability, Scalability and Portability
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Technical Science
