Position Summary
As the technical evangelist you will be part of our Samsung Developers team, based in San Jose, California. We always strive to ensure we can proactively support the growing developer community across the key platforms as well as evangelizing new emerging platforms. We are now looking for our online hero who will help us take our expertise and sensing in the physical world online, by engaging and supporting developers in forums, blogs and community sites. Understanding what the key issues are and recognize trends.
Responsibilities
Grow the online presence and sensing for Samsung Developer initiatives, using existing and new channels and tools
Measure and analyze trends and activity as well as identify issues which needs further attention from our engineering team
Work closely with our PR team to collaborate on new channels to engage with and provide developer feedback
Provide product and software recommendations based on feedback from community
Requirements
Experience writing native mobile applications in java and C/C++
Existing blogger and/or an demonstrable active online social engagement
Must be a self-starter yet passionate on being part of a team
Nice to have
Knowledge of HTML5/JS-based development including JQuery
Gadget freak (We get to play with a lot of new exciting toys here)
