Technical LeadGrowing mid-sized organization is seeking a Technical Lead to be part of their team. Basic Function: Provide oversight for programming, development, maintenance, security and technical implementation services and production support for essential financial administrative functions of the ncipal Duties and Responsibilities Lead a team of developers with diverse skill sets and provide coaching and mentoring to a team of developers Resolve and track Keep abreast and recommend patch application and upgrade requirements Maintain and track key develop objects and migration requests Assists in release planning and coordination of migrations and changes to all Financial and administrative systems Assist with technical coordination of third party vendors and/or productsSystem Development Lifecycle Develop, upgrade and implement new financial and administrative applications or enhancements to existing applications Review functional specification for completeness and technical level of effort Perform technical designs and specifications for data conversions, reports, queries, integrations, interfaces, scripts, SQL, and online customizations Develop and unit test custom code and patches Be well versed in PeopleSoft technical tools including: PS Query, Integration Broker, Application Messaging, Component Interface, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Application Designer, Data Mover, SQR, Crystal and Upgrade Assistant Perform code review and maintain code libraries in source control software Evaluate and recommend technical solutions that meet user requirementsSystem Production Support and Maintenance Maintain applications by providing production support and troubleshooting to users including tracking and monitoring issues in service desk incident management system Assist in the creation/modification of new/existing reports, queries to monitor data and output regularly Perform research for recommend patches to resolve issues and/or provide additional functionality Update and maintain technical documentation as necessary Document issues and resolutions for future reference Maintain and monitor batch schedule utilizing process scheduler and monitor Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, store or accesses Other Duties as assignedProfessional Development Self-Starter; keeps abreast of developments in computer hardware and software technology including security Attend computer courses, trade shows, professional seminars and software user group meetings.
