Technical Support Analyst - JMP
Title: Technical Support Analyst - JMP Location: NC-Cary
You will be a part of the team that provides customer support for JMP Software. Responsibilities will include general JMP support, including the JMP scripting language, and JMP automation. You will provide first- and second-level support for the installation of JMP Software. You may also work with various SAS solutions.
Duties include providing primary support for internal and external customers; prioritizing, trouble shooting, and managing customer reported problems including writing thorough, detailed problem descriptions and transactions; preparing and reviewing written documentation related to support areas; providing proactive product feedback to development; participating in special projects and performing other duties as assigned.
Essential * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related quantitative field with: * 2 years of experience programming, designing test cases, software consulting, or supporting complex software applications Equivalent Essential * Associate's degree in the same fields plus 4 years of stated essential qualifications ~ OR ~ * High school diploma (GED) plus 6 years of stated essential qualifications Additional * Working knowledge of multiple operating systems * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work with people of varied technical backgrounds * Ability to handle deadlines in a multi-task environment * Ability to resolve user questions through a combination of independent study, investigative programming and collaborative efforts with team members * Ability to travel on a very limited basis Preferences * 1 year of JMP and/or SAS experience Additional Information
