Job Title Technical Support Analyst Auto req ID 8513BR Company 100-DST Systems, Inc. Site Location Kansas City, Missouri Job Description Technical Support Analysts monitor and maintain the mainframe Operating Systems resources, started tasks and applications for DST's data center. They perform IPL's IBM mainframes. Technical Support Analysts receive calls from customers, create problem tickets, and follow through on reported problems to resolution. Associates work through problems with IBM automated tape robotics, identify and resolve system exceptions flagged on the monitoring tools, and monitor batch processing via the scheduler package (ESP). Qualified applicants must be able to work in a team environment and communicate well with co-workers and other support groups. Technical Support Analysts submit recommendations for updates to departmental processes and procedures, as identified. The position requires multi-tasking and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Required Skills 1-2 years of technical experience or technical training preferred. Full or Part Time Full-Time Travel Requirements Not Applicable Working Hours or Shift Not Applicable
